Throughout our process of our PICOT question, article searches, etc we have had to revise our topic and our process of approach throughout. Throughout this process the challenges our team has faced has mostly pertained to compromising to incorporate all members’ ideas. Our team has successfully divided out the work on most occasions. We have also been adaptable to change throughout the process while revising our PICOT question and finding many articles to narrow down. Our largest team challenges with communication have been listening. Particularly for myself it has been challenging to try to lead the discussion by listening to others rather than presenting my ideas first and seeing if they agree with them. I tend to be an outspoken person so I think some challenges towards collaboration have been that aspect. Another challenge regarding listening to each other is the way we sit. I think moving forward we would better be able to physically hear each other in a circle or 2×2 facing each other rather than our current model of 4 people at a desk in a line especially with our softest spoken members being on the outside this has presented the challenge of not being heard in the sense of communicating ideas but also not being heard due to distance and volume levels. Overall, we have good teamwork skills which will become better with time.
