We only got 2 responses from our dissemination questionnaire. Overall, both of these people found the brochure to have helpful information with ratings of 5/10 and 10/10 and that it was decently helpful to have on their unit during their shift with ratings of 5/10 and 8/10. One response was given regarding how the brochure improves care of our patients with renal diseases. This individual wrote that it offers alternative therapy options. Honestly, I’m wondering if the reason we got very few responses is because by the time many individuals are on their lunch break they’ve been working for hours straight and truly want a break rather than looking at more information. I propose in the future with regards to the process, it would be beneficial to thing about effective ways of using the shuttle services to get information out while everyone has access to their phones. 

I learned a lot from this project regarding ways to approach pain management and also about collaboration with others. I feel that we are all so quick to ask patients for a rating of their pain just to click through the pop up boxes on the MAR and decided if their level qualifies for the next up medication when we can implement other strategies first. It really is something that is interprofessional and makes a huge difference in the patients recovery process. I discovered a lot from myself doing this project. I have identified the balance of taking a leadership role in some aspects of my life but not all and it has benefited me significantly.
