Hey Dani, overall, your cover letter looks great! The only recommendation that I have would be to stick to the 4-paragraph model, other than that I no complaints regarding the cover letter.
I’m going to be honest I don’t have a lot of familiarity with cover letters, but for what it’s worth:
Is there any reason in particular that you chose UChealth Colorado? And I think you might have listed how you align with the organizations values, I just don’t know because you didn’t say it point blank. Is there a reason not to indent paragraphs in a formal letter?
I think you you had an awesome cover letter overall. You really went into detail and covered all of the topics that should be covered. My recommendations would be to potentially try and discard some of the less pertinent information that could potentially be found in your resume. Maybe try and spotlight some things to grasp their attention, but other than that you did a nice job!
This is a great start to your cover letter! I find that you have many assets that would make this organization extremely lucky to have you. This letter is a bit on the longer side, so I would recommend shortening the length of your cover letter to being more of a four-paragraph format. The formatting of your personal information and where you are applying stand out as well, but I would add your name to the personal information at the top as well.
Very nice job on your cover letter! I really like how you mention the organization’s core values and mission, and why they are important to you. You also did a really good job making a connection to the organization, personalizing your application. You mentioned several soft and hard unique skills that make you a more desirable candidate. My recommendation would be to follow the 4-paragraph model and to try to keep the cover letter 1 page long. Overall great job!
Dani!
What an amazing cover letter!!! I am still so in awe of all you bring to the table and what a wonderful asset you will be to the UC Health University of Colorado Hospital! You have such a way with words and truly know how to put all of your skills and personal elements on display to allow for employers to see what an amazing and stand-out applicant you are! My only critique is that it is a bit longer than 4 paragraphs, so shortening it just a touch to bring it to one page would be perfect! You not only highlighted what unique elements you bring to the table, but you also highlighted your clear love for the profession and true passion in pursuing a nursing role at this institution. Great job, wow!!! -Faith
